🎲 Coffee is for Closers..In Vegas, We Ordered Doubles.
The 25th Annual IBAA Conference hit Las Vegas and the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino like a jackpot — Oct 22-23rd; two days of big ideas, bold strategies, and plenty of networking.
We kicked off with a Happy Hour reception Wednesday, Oct 22, at Atomic Liquors — the classic Old Vegas bar where locals once watched bomb tests — swapping stories, raising glasses, and placing our bets on Indoor advertising’s big wins.
Thursday, Oct 23, we had a full day of sessions with speakers and lively roundtables.
The Big Theme?
Selling More Indoor Advertising — driven by smart AI tools, proven “old-school” sales methods (new twist on cold calls), tighter messaging, and deeper collaboration to expand our footprint and amplify the IBAA presence.
The day featured a powerhouse lineup of speakers:
- David Vasas (Collage Media Group) – expanding regional restroom advertising through media extensions.
- Mike Terry (Watson Creative / Core Digital) – “Coffee is for Closers”- AI-driven sales automation and digital marketing to sell Indoor to local, regional, and national clients and agencies.
- Brandon Zunker (IBAA President) (Drip Media) – durable digital display innovation for restrooms and high trafficked placements.
- Leith El Hassan (Circle Graphics/OOHforGood) – Out of Home industry-place based printing and OOH media trends.
- Kent Lewis(NextNW) – AI and Generative Engine Optimization for the IBAA, and for retooling member websites.
- Paul Crowder (Billups) – AI-enhanced creative optimization to design ads that work and media buying insight utilizing Billups’ tools for OOH.
Ideas shared — along with lively member roundtables — will update the IBAA footprint, grow ad sales opportunities, and keep indoor and restroom media on a winning streak.
We’re continuing to amplify the IBAA voice, update our digital presence, and yes — bring more INDOOR to the PEOPLE.
We’re also committed to strengthening industry outreach through the Ad Council’s Trade Association Advisory Committee (where we are honored to serve), positioning Indoor as a vital force in place-based Out-of-Home media.
Indoor advertising has an even bigger future in an era of attention clutter, short attention spans, and intrusive tracking. Well-placed Indoor continues to cut through the noise, command attention, and deliver results — proof of the innate power of our media.
We wrapped with an epic dinner at Andiamo Steakhouse — stories, laughs, and big ideas for growing the industry rounding out a memorable IBAA 2025.
Huge thanks to all our members, speakers, and sponsors.
